Your Discovery Call with Chris is an informal chat, and it will usually follow this basic format

1. You will share the issues you are having with your teenager
2. Chris will ask some questions to clarify and make sure he understands
3. Chris will call out some of the main issues and suggest the type of strategies that could help
4. You let Chris know if you are interested in adopting any of the options he puts forward

Discovery Calls are free because they are a crucial part of the coaching process. It gives both you and Chris the chance to assess each other and the likely success of your working together without any risk or cost.

A Discovery Call achieves 3 important things:

1. You get a taste of what online coaching is like
2. We can determine if coaching is the best way forward for your situation
3. You can make an informed decision about working with Chris as your coach

There is no secret Catch or hard sell that occurs. Coaching only works if you are committed to the process, so Chris trying to convince you is not part of a Discovery Call.

The answer to that question should be much clearer to you at the end of the Discovery Call.

Chris has been working with teenagers and their families for over 25 years. In that time he has helped hundreds of parents rebuild and improve their relationships with their teenage kids.

Chris has worked with families from all walks of life and will coach either one parent or both parents depending on the requirement.

Chris is of most assistance to parents of teenagers, who want to see things change with their teenagers and know as a parent they need to take responsibility for some of those changes.

While there are no guarantees or assured outcomes, lots of people experience great outcomes from coaching. Those people who do have really succesful outcomes generally have the following traits:

1. They take responsibility for their own progress and have a genuine desire to improve and grow
2. They are willing to invest time into doing the work on themselves and with their family to make the required changes
3. They accept changing relationships, behaviours and habits requires consistent effort over time

Coaching doesn't work for parents who

1. Want someone to fix the problems for them without making any effort
2. Are not open to changing how they parent or how they relate to their family
3. Are looking for a magic bullet that fixes everything overnight.
